The Idea Awards /
The Idea Awards is a creative competition open to all with a selection of fantastic prizes for the winner & runners up. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to add an idea. It’s that simple.
It does not have to be your idea or even a new idea, but the more original it is the better as the general public will be voting for their favourite. All ideas can be rated using the 10 star system – there are live scores and rankings, so check back to see how you are doing. Confused? Find out more by clicking on How it Works.
For every idea that you enter, you will be sent a limited edition All about the Idea sticker for you to plaster on something. To begin your ideas journey, click on Add Idea.

I discovered a company offering short term house sitting (www.wewaitforyou.co.uk) and found their service very useful as it saved me the hassle of looking for someone on a short notice to be at my house for the emergency plumbing appointment. I made my trip to Singapore, and therefor didn’t lose five days of pay. What a simple and practical idea!

There are so many apps these days which people can download.
I don’t know much about Iphones, or apps as I don’t own one, but I do know that keeping healthy and active is vital for living a long happy life.
That is why I have come up with an idea of having your own personalised health app.
For anyone out there who owns an Iphone or can download apps, this one is for you.
Have you considered creating/downloading your own health app.
The main purpose of this app would be to check and monitor your weight whenever you need be and for you to get personal tips or did you know facts? On how to improve your health without having to visit any health advisors, dietitians or nutritionists unless you are in a critical life threatening state or condition and seek desperate help.
To activate the app you would just need to enter your BMI details and your lifestyle questions and it will calculate your
weight in terms of how active you are in these five categories:
Active, not so active, lazy, very lazy, desperately need to get active.
The app will not only give you top ten friendly tips on trying new ways to become healthy and more active e.g. go walking, sign up for a marathon, take up a new sport, try to make simple healthier snacks rather than get take aways etc.
It will also give you a chance to prove and test your own knowledge on what you get from eating really good healthy food and how to best avoid really unhealthy foods such as carbohydrates from unsaturated foods butter, cakes, fried food etc.
For example protein from beans, fish, nuts, eggs,
Iron from spinach, leafy vegetables etc
This app will not only be a great way to save time, energy, cost, it can be a very beneficial tool to help empower your health and life.
The Facebook Supplement

Companies are always looking for effective advertising space which captivate audiences.
I propose printing a free Facebook supplement called “Profile of the Day”. A different person would be selected each day to have a printed page featuring their Facebook profile with a witty and engaging write up summary of the person.
Many of us spend our underground journeys reading features about celebrities, but why not make it more real. Lets engage and enjoy articles on “real” day to day people. Wouldn’t it be fun if the star of the day was sat opposite you or you find yourself smiling back at you from the page. Lets all have the opportunity to be made a “Celebrity” for the day.
(Advertising space as seen on online profiles. For privacy rights an on-line application could be used to subscribe into being a potential printed feature)
